And since change is perpetual and omnipresent,
our standard of living is proportional to our ability (and willingness) to adapt to it — permanently.

HOW HUMANS WORK

MOST CONFLICTS IN SOCIETY COME FROM MISUNDERSTANDING WHAT DRIVES OTHER PEOPLE

It is estimated that 87% of managers have no idea what motivates, drives and satisfies their employees, or their customers coming from 4 generations and hundreds of cultures.

CULTURES ARE NOT JUST ABOUT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN COUNTRIES

They are also:

  • professions,
  • social strata,
  • corporate cultures,
  • genders
  • and (to some extent) generations.

In the 2000s and 2010s, globalization and the increased mobility of people fed the fantasy of a global world, borderless, with a globalture — a single culture.

But cultural differences, with their customs, habits, prejudices and mutual misunderstandings, are not going to fade away! They are only getting worse.

HUMANITY IS TOO DIVERSE & TOO DISPARATE TO BE LEVELED

  1. By nature, man is conservative — habits are extremely hard to change, especially on the scale of large human groups (companies, countries).
  2. By nature, man is ethnocentric — he sees the diversity of the world through the prism of the norms and values of his own terroir, usually with no critical look at himself.
  3. The culture of a country shapes the culture of work — ethnocentrism is everywhere in companies (whatever their size and origin).
  4. Every society, like every company, is de facto multicultural — differences in age, origins, social levels, male-female communication, not to mention foreign colleagues. This complexity can turn any cooperation into an unlivable cohabitation and drive management into a dead end.
Human relations, financial results and the company’s image inevitably pay the price.

AN UPHEAVAL OF OUR ENTIRE SOCIAL ORGANIZATION IS UNDER WAY

  • the growing brutalization of human relations,
  • the disappearance of shared values and the weakening of the normative system — social anomie,
  • economic, political and cultural neoliberalism — a total social fact,
  • deranged wokeism everywhere you look,
  • the ubiquitous spread of artificial pseudo-intelligence,
  • westernization VS. multipolarity,
  • exponential population growth in an unbalanced demographic context,
  • collective denial and – worst of all – the denial of those who make the decisions…

There is only one super power that can solve all these global challenges – the 8 billion humans, because of whom all these problems appeared in the first place. Those 8 billion are the only ones who can solve them.

The difficulty: these 8 billion are divided into 193 States which – each of them – make their own laws. Every country, with its own interests and its own politics, behaves as if it lived on an island on its own planet, in its own solar system.

OUR SOLUTION

Change through SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE

means raising collective consciousness to a higher level.

• Understanding societal morals and ethics.
• Acting as a clear-eyed citizen in a world where cultures, generations, beliefs, professions and technologies all intertwine.

  • Cognitive biases
  • Conflictology and assertiveness
  • Collective intelligence
  • Rigorous self-questioning
  • Change and decision-making
  • Humanistic management

THE REAL QUESTION:

In the name of what & how do we act together?
