This atypical course is an electric shock! • France
It really was an atypical course. I was pleasantly surprised and genuinely glad to have taken it. I see it as a bit of an electroshock, telling myself that I should read more, keep myself better informed and improve as a person (for myself, but also to be useful to society).
Your way of teaching hits hard, in the good sense of the term. You managed to hold the attention of an entire class from 9am to 6pm, and that is far from easy (collecting the phones at the start of class was a very good idea, by the way!).
The debates push us to concentrate, to take part and above all to listen to others and exchange with them. I think you learn a thousand times more that way than when you take notes off a slide automatically, even stupidly, sometimes without understanding what you are writing.
I also really liked the way you talk to us: direct, young and outside the usual academic frame. That difference catches the attention and makes us want to listen to you. So thank you for not being like all the other teachers we come across throughout our instruction (our instruction, not our education, haha).
Thank you for sharing your expertise and your energy.

Atypical, captivating & rich — with a systemic vision • France
I found your course atypical and captivating.
You don’t give a conventional class, you open up debates instead. You take a stance that questions everything, almost provocative, which lets us dig deep and look for a systemic view.
Thank you for this rich and gripping course.
Respectfully.

An ability to hold attention that few teachers have • Algeria
Honestly, this is one of the courses that has fascinated me the most since the beginning of my studies (and God knows I’ve done plenty after 6 years of pharmacy school).
Thanks to you, I’ve developed a real interest in Social Intelligence and in how to interact in the best possible way with the people around me, but also with myself. And above all I learned (as someone who always thinks she’s right) that I’m almost never right! And believe me, the fact that I can say that is quite an achievement!
You opened my mind, you allowed me to stop limiting myself and blocking my own thinking, you let me look at life differently.
You have an ability to hold people’s attention that very few have. And I can tell you that the whole class loves your way of teaching, the fact that it’s very interactive with everyone. Hearing the opinions and views of the other classmates makes it even cooler. You can tell you’re passionate about what you do. And that is a real inspiration for us.
I would have liked more hours with you, and I hope we can exchange and I can learn more from you in the future!

We need more teachers who disturb our certainties • France
Your sense of humor suits you very well. Your messages are clear, pragmatic, neither shocking nor too vague — while getting everyone to think.
I’ll remember you as a teacher who goes against the prevailing conformism, with a genuine feel for free will and for questioning ready-made ideas. We lack teachers who push us to think differently.
In fact, you remind me of the film 12 Angry Men, where one man against eleven manages to change minds through selflessness and persuasion, while insisting that you have to think for yourself instead of blindly following the crowd. We need more teachers who disturb certainties. Our applause for you at the end of the course was a perfect demonstration of our gratitude.
Small aside, your YouTube videos are pretty good too, I watched the one on feminism called Women’s rights: going backwards is still possible.

Teaching a crowd of 180 international students so effortlessly... • India
Teaching Social Intelligence to a crowd of 180 international students in such a refined way, with simple and precise communication, is a feat.
The other students also found his business cases fascinating. His approach really made us use our brains. Today, I can reproduce from memory everything I learned in his classes. It was like watching a brilliant film that started from the beginnings of Globalization and ran all the way to today. It was cool.

A lot of teachers should take note... • France
A lot of teachers should take a page from the way you teach…
What I liked most was how close you stayed to us throughout the whole seminar. I don’t know how to explain it, but I was immediately at ease with you and I never felt awkward about asking you every question I had, or about interrupting you. Plenty of professors would have taken it badly or been annoyed.
I found your approach to education different from the classic experience of a student in France, which is far more formal.

I would like to inject your course into my veins and have it circulate forever • Algeria
If I had to sum up what I thought of your course, I’d say I want to inject it straight into my veins and keep it circulating forever.
I think I really needed it. Your outspokenness, your particular energy, and that depth I haven’t come across very often. All of it with humor, rigor and genuine care. I found an insane coherence in the way you connect ideas.
To be honest, I found it stunning. Running into a sensibility more awake than average in a classroom is pretty rare. In fact, I found you overwhelming. It’s a strong word, but that’s what I felt. I sincerely believe it’s one of the best, not to say THE best course of my life.
Let’s say the slap landed, and above all exactly where it needed to. Your course made me understand that you can move forward differently, without setting up so many barriers for yourself. I was surprised to learn that not everyone felt it the way I did. But naturally, your message lands differently when you’re ready to hear it.
Whatever the case, that course was definitely memorable. Never stop doing what you do.
You’ve gained a reader (because yes, I ordered your book) and someone who now follows you.
Thanks again!

Something rare: a human, cultured and deeply respectful vision • Morocco
Honestly, your course is one of the ones that has left the strongest mark on me since I started my studies. And I say that without any exaggeration: it’s rare to sit through a course where you feel so much authenticity, freedom of thought and depth all at once.
I really appreciated the way you teach, because you can tell that you believe what you say, that your words rest on real life experience, and that your goal is above all to make us think, never to impose a single truth. That open-mindedness and that respect for different visions are, in my eyes, what makes your approach so valuable.
During the session, several sentences and expressions you shared really stayed with me. I even wrote some of them down word for word, because they expressed things that were true, simple and universal. When I got home, I talked about it at length with my fiancé, the course had made such an impression on me. And after discussing it with several classmates, many felt exactly the same: strong content, the right posture and a rare sincerity.
It’s a real shame that we only get one session with you this year, because your approach brings something rare: a human, cultivated and deeply respectful vision.
I also want to congratulate you more broadly on your work: your book Psychology of the New Rich, your videos and your articles show the same coherence and the same depth as your courses. It’s inspiring to see someone share their ideas with so much clarity, while leaving everyone free to think them through in their own way.
Thanks again for such a sincere and memorable moment. Keep teaching with that authenticity, it makes all the difference.

A brilliant slap in the face to build us as individuals • France
Over my 5 years at Skema, I’ve had the incredible luck of crossing paths with professors who left an indelible mark on my journey, not only academically but also in my growth as a young adult. And spoiler alert: you are absolutely part of that Hall of Fame!
If I had to list the things I thank Skema for, the quality of the faculty comes first. Over time, my expectations of teaching have changed; I’m no longer looking to swallow theory, but to live an enriching experience that challenges me and pushes my thinking to its very limits. And your course is an absolute jackpot on that front.
Not once did I leave your class without my mind boiling over, asking myself a thousand questions and with a mad thirst to dig deeper into every concept we touched. Beyond the interesting subjects we explored, you managed to breathe life and energy into those discussions. You encouraged us to question things, to dig deeper. And even if it’s a little frustrating to realize the gaps in our general knowledge, that was exactly the kick in the ass we needed to keep building ourselves as individuals.
So, a huge thank you for your teaching, your humor, and for everything you’ve given me. I hope this email captures a bit of the impact and the gratitude I feel, while keeping a touch of humor. Because yes, learning with joy and good spirits changes everything!
With all my gratitude,

Almost the perfect course: the content is clear, your posture is right, and the atmosphere you create lets people take part without any pressure. You can tell that the departures from political correctness are deliberate and perfectly controlled, and that’s also what gives the course its unique tone.
Thank you for your time and your teaching.
